Out and proud bisexual mother and True Blood star Anna Paquin said she hopes that soon, sexuality becomes mundane.

Paquin, who came out as bisexual in 2010, spoke to HuffPost Live last week about sexuality, her relationship and monogamy.

In June, Paquin tweeted, “Proud to be a happily married bisexual mother. Marriage is about love, not gender. @eqca @NOH8Campaign @ItGetsBetter.”

Paquin has been married to True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer since August 2010 and they have a set of twins.

“There’s people that are going to probably go to their grave thinking whatever they think about the LGBT community,” Paquin said to HuffPost. “That’s their problem, not mine. And there’s people that think monogamy and bisexuality are mutually exclusive. Again, their problem not mine.”

Paquin said she wants to make sure these topics are discussed.

“The reason I feel like it’s important to talk about this stuff is that the more normal and, frankly, mundane and boring this stuff becomes, I think the better it’s going to be for everyone who is part of our community,” she said.
