A massive fire in downtown Bothell, Wash., ripped through the city and burned down at least 15 businesses on July 22.
The fire broke out just before 3 a.m. and spread quickly with gusty winds, sending flames in the sky that could be seen for miles. The cause of the blaze is unknown and while no people were injured or killed, many businesses suffered.
Four of the businesses, located in a building at the corner of Main Street and 102nd Avenue NE, were some of those destroyed in the mix.
Blush Celebrations, Jenny GG Photography, Hapertas & Co., and Inspirare by Jennifer, all wedding/event professionals that shared the space, have set up a YouCaring crowdfunding page to try and raise money.
On their page, the four business owners said, “coming back from such a devastating loss has been so difficult.”
A block part was hosted by the Bothell Chamber of Commerce to raise money for groups, and now the owners are still trying to find a temporary space to hold meetings with clients.
“Please be patient with us, know we are doing the best we can to move on, but we’re still grieving and trying to figure out which pieces of our business need to be replaced when. Hugs, love, and maybe some wine are always appreciated,” the page said.
