Camp No Counselors is hosting its second annual LGBTQ & Friends adult sleep away camp in Los Angeles. The all-inclusive, weekend-long experience will take place Columbus Day weekend (October 5-8), with tickets starting at $475/person for a two-night stay and $650/person for the full three-night experience.
“We’re excited to bring the LGBTQ & Friends camp back to L.A. this fall with new activities created with and for the LGBTQ community,” says Adam Tichauer, Founder of Camp No Counselors. “Some of our LGBTQ campers have shared with us that camp wasn’t always a positive experience growing up. So it’s our priority to create an open-minded and fun-loving environment for campers to redefine their camp experience as their true selves.”
As seen on ABC’s Shark Tank, Camp No Counselors offers adults, age 21 and over, an adventurous experience filled with epic nightly themed costume parties, an open bar, and delicious meals. Campers also enjoy an abundance of classic camp activities including kickball, dodgeball, archery, arts and crafts, a ropes course, zip line, swimming pool, talent show, lip sync competition, and the ultimate challenge, Color Wars.
Enhancing the camp experience, this year’s LGBTQ & Friends camp will feature DJs and performers who are well known in the community and new programming including custom themed parties, a fashion runway style challenge, and a drag event.
Camp No Counselors’ 2018 season is currently underway with more than 24 weekend dates across the U.S. and Canada. Special group rates are available. Learn more about Camp No Counselors and register today at CampNoCounselors.com.
