Funny queer D’Lo has joined EDEN Pacific Northwest‘s lineup of comedians – including headliner Julie Goldman and Belinda Carroll – that will have the women laughing out loud during the women’s weekend in the coastal town of Seaside, Oregon.
D’Lo is a queer Tamil Sri L.A.nkan-American comedian who has been bringing her queer humor to comedy clubs, stages and TV as a comedian, director, music producer, political, and theatre artist/writer for more than 15 years.
Sarah Toce, EDEN PNW co-producer and publisher and editor of The Seattle Lesbian, is excited about the addition of D’Lo to the comedy show, “We’re thrilled to invite D’Lo to join us this year!”
“We’re super excited to share D’Lo’s charm with our guests!” said Toce, adding that D’Lo’s comedy “offers guests a new way to look at the world – and laugh about it.”
D’Lo isn’t a stranger to the Pacific Northwest touring there regularly, but she’s never been to Seaside. She’s curious to see what the beach town is all about, and then there’s the fact that she will be in good company, she said.
The queer comedian is excited about performing at EDEN PNW simply to “be in good company and have a good time,” said D’Lo, who is friends with Carroll.
“I get to hang out with other amazing comics,” continued D’Lo, not to mention guests of EDEN PNW.
“The demand has been so overwhelming, and it’s a testament to the comedians we have on board,” said Toce. “There is a little something for everyone in our comedy lineup.”
The EDEN PNW team is looking forward to the dinner and comedy show at The Twisted Fish, 311 Broadway Street, at 9 p.m. October 4. Dinner begins at 8 p.m. The show begins at 9 p.m. Tickets are $30.
