DOFL2012-LOGO_web_smallLifelong AIDS Alliance’s Dining Out For Life, presented by BECU, returns for its 20th anniversary on Thursday, April 25. When you dine at a participating restaurant on this day, a portion of your bill will be donated to Lifelong for the fight against illness and hunger in Seattle’s community.

“Participating in Dining Out For Life is an easy way to give back,” said Randall Russell, Lifelong’s Chief Executive Officer. “We are thrilled with the outpouring of support from the community every year. Such a simple thing – grabbing coffee or going out for a meal – allows us to continue our work supporting seniors, individuals with HIV, and compromised health.”

Golden Fork restaurants – restaurants that have agreed to donate a generous 50 percent of their proceeds to Lifelong – include Caffe Vita, Jimmy’s on Broadway, McMenamins Queen Anne, McMenamins Six Arms, Skylark Café, Fogón Cocina Mexicana, Hunger 2.0, and Ristorante Doria.

During the day-long fundraiser, restaurant patrons will have a chance to win two domestic airline tickets from Alaska Airlines. Lifelong is also encouraging participants to tweet photos of themselves for a chance to win a Dining Out For Life prize package.

Dining Out For Life is sponsored by BECU, Seattle Weekly, C89.5, GLBT Yellow Pages, Alaska Airlines, Titan Outdoor, Yelp, and Clear Channel Outdoor.
