Eve is back and she’s coming to EDEN Pride Weekend San Francisco. The Grammy award-winning rapper Eve will headline EDEN’s Signature Party on Saturday, June 29 at Mezzanine for her first ever San Francisco performance.
Space is limited. VIP backstage and general passes are available now here.
Earlier this month, Eve stepped out on her own with her first album in 11 years, Lip Lock, produced by her own recording label, From the Ribs Music.
Eve’s appearance at EDEN Pride Weekend San Francisco will give Northern California fans and Pride goers a chance to see her perform for the first time in over a decade.
The 34-year-old rapper is excited to perform at EDEN, one of a few select performances leading up to Eve’s international tour to promote Lip Lock, during San Francisco Pride Weekend.
“I’m totally, completely excited. I know it’s going to be a fun time,” said Eve. “I’ve been to Pride Weekends before and the energy that is there is just the best, so I’m really looking forward to it.”
Eve’s also appreciative of her fans – queer and straight – who have supported her and given her “love,” she said.
“I love them,” Eve said about her female and queer women fans. “I mean, they have always been so supportive to me since the beginning of my career. It’s always been great support and…love. It’s such an amazing thing, honestly. So, I’m really excited about performing.”
“I want to have such a good time,” Eve continued about performing for EDEN’s guests. “Hopefully, we just have the best time [and] just have fun.”
A good time is what is planned for EDEN Pride Weekend San Francisco June 27 – 30, 2013. EDEN has gathered this year’s hottest celesbians, including Season 1 of ABC’s The Taste winner Chef K, who will host the Chef K Foodie Brunch to raise money for the EDEN LGBTQ Youth Foundation.
While women and their friends will have a good time during EDEN Pride Weekend San Francisco, LGBTQ youth will benefit. 100 percent of the proceeds from the eight EDEN events throughout the weekend will go directly to fund scholarships and support for organizations focused on helping LGBTQ youth.
“When we started EDEN four years ago, I remember sitting around the table with our team and discussing how amazing it would be to have Eve at EDEN. It seemed like such [an] impossible dream back then. So to have her headline our fourth year is a dream come true, a testament to what we have accomplished as a team,” said Christine De La Rosa, founder and producer of EDEN Pride Events.
