Celebrities and guests gathered for the 23rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles Saturday evening. Ellen DeGeneres opened the show and attendees such as Ali Larter, Mark Deklin and Kat Graham enjoyed an exclusive performance by Grammy Award-winning singer Jason Mraz.
Academy Award-winning actor Benicio del Toro presented the Vanguard Award to film star Josh Hutcherson. Cher made a surprise appearance to honor her son Chaz Bono who received the Stephen F. Kolzak Award. The award was presented by congresswoman, Mary Bono Mack, Chaz Bono’s stepmother.
