This year, BunnyCon is raising money for three non-profit organizations by (a) asking the bars to donate a portion of their revenues from rabbits, and (b) selling a limited supply of bunny ears. The list of organizations includes Social Outreach Seattle, Team Up For Nonprofits, and Rat City Rollergirls’ Derby Brats.
Bunny Bar Hop (Seattle BunnyCon 2014) is scheduled for Saturday, April 19. Click Here for the official event page and RSVP today!
Be a costumed rabbit with several hundred others downtown. Ears are the minimum. Participants will pub crawl all day and night with lots in store from 12 p.m. – 2 a.m. It’s free to join in on the fun, and the success of the event is based on audience participation, so hop like you mean it! Bring your games, signs, candy, gifts, songs, and friends. Plus, take photos – you won’t want to forget this!
- Dress for the theme.
- My name is Bunny. Your name is Bunny.
- Be nice to kids, staff, and security.
- Use cash only. Cards are slow.
- Keep your orders simple so the line keeps moving.
- Life’s too short. Don’t be a jerk. Expect to wait for some drinks.
- Stay with Bunny. Bunny in the front slow down. Bunny in the back speed up.
This year’s route starts in Belltown and ends in Pioneer Square. Activities throughout BunnyCon include an Easter Egg Hunt, Pin the Tail on the Bunny, marching band(s), live music, a costume contest, a flash mob, a runway showcase, and a huge group photo opportunity at the peak of the event.
