Hotel Monaco Portland is a unique luxury hotel in downtown Portland just steps away from shopping, restaurants and the beautiful Tom McCall Waterfront Park. The famous Pioneer Square is only a couple blocks away. Hop on to MAX Light Rail and get whisked to the Washington Park Zoo or the gorgeous Japanese Rose Gardens.

Hotel Monaco is full of vibrant colors everywhere.  Renowned designer Cheryl Rowley has transformed it into a haven with deep chocolate furnishings where you have a feeling of both luxury and coziness at the same time.  The lobby is not just a lobby.  It is a relaxing place to read or just sit in front of the fireplace.  You will feel like royalty sitting in here…

One of the greatest qualities about Hotel Monaco Portland, is that it is Green Seal Silver Certified, which means it meets a rigorous set of environmental standards that reduce impact on the environment and human health.  Recycling, water conservation and saving energy are just a few of these examples.

There are 221 exquisite rooms and suites that are also richly decorated and very colorful. Join the Kimpton InTouch Guest Loyalty Program for free and get complimentary Internet access. The bathrooms are spacious and, after a soak in the tub, you can slip into a plush animal-print bathrobe such as zebra, leopard or giraffe. These robes really are so much fun. There is a 32” Plasma Flat Screen TV and a DVD player included in the room. The fully stocked honor bar is irresistible and if that isn’t enough for you, just order up 24 hour room service any time. The in-room coffee maker has complimentary Starbucks coffee which is quite tasty in the morning.  Just open your door and there will be a newspaper of your choice waiting for you.

Hotel Monaco Portland takes pride in being an extremely pet-friendly hotel. Timmy, who is a dog recently hired on, is the Director of Pet Relations. He will welcome you and your furry companion when you arrive. Hotel Monaco goes above and beyond to make you and your furry friend comfortable.  Services include a personal welcome on the Pet Welcome Board. Also your pet will receive a bed, bowl, toys, treats, disposable doggie bags, and spring water. You can even have a pet psychic consultation with Bridget Pilloud of Pets Are Talking. They also supply lots of information on where to take your furry friend such as hiking trails, etc…

If you really want to unwind and relax, call up for an in-room spa treatment. Choose from massage, body treatments, facial treatments, and hand and foot treatments right in your own room. Kerstain Florian body and skin care products are used with their therapeutic properties of aromatherapy blends, thalassotherapy, mineral, and soothing herbal treatments. All massage oils are 100% organic sunflower oil with natural essential oils. The body wraps are also extremely soothing with a choice of the aloe vera or spirulina wraps.

Hotel Monaco Portland really is a gem in the middle of Portland, Oregon. This luxury hotel has also won many awards, including Travel & Leisure “World’s Best Values” and “Top 500 Hotels in the World.” It also received the City of Portland’s BlueWorks Award for recycling and sustainability. Also, this hotel received a National Geo Tourism Award from National Geographic Traveler for environmental stewardship. Another fabulous asset is that Hotel Monaco Portland is affiliated with the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA) and welcomes lesbian, gay bisexual and transgender (LGBT) guests.

Hi, A good writing style and information is certainly useful about the luxury hotels .The luxury hotels and boutique hotels are available in the rooms because the hotel Luxury is more than boutique hotels and has more rooms than there is not much difference, but I remember the luxury hotels charge a lot for any amenities such as a boutique style hotel will help you at an affordable price. Thanks for your nice post.
