Rosie O’Donnell Beats Widow Maker, Gets Married

Just call her Sadie, Sadie Married Lady. Rosie O’Donnell is having a year to remember. In 2012 she beat the widow maker and married her lady love Michelle Rounds.

According to our sources, the former television talk show host secretly married fiancé Michelle Rounds on June 9. They began dating in early 2011.

The happy couple have had their fair share of bouts will health issues. Earlier this year, Rounds was diagnosed with desmoid tumors, and O’Donnell suffered her own ills as well – a heart attack that could have killed her, affectionately known as the widow maker.

O’Donnell shared on her blog in her usual prose fashion:

my wife michelle
was diagnosed with desmoid tumors in june
a mysterious rare – too often fatal disease
that affects 3 in a million people

we were to wed 10 days ago
but her illness forced us to postpone the wedding
luckily -
as i was in ICU that day
when it rains …
things grow
like love and flowers
humans too

so on we go
we married in private
before her surgery
just the 2 of us

when we r both well enough
will have the wedding of r dreams
surrounded by those we cherish
thankful for the love and support
so many have given us
during these trying times

connected thru invisible strands
