The audience rocked out Thursday, May 3 at Tacoma Dome as Country superstar Shania Twain made a successful return to the big stage on her North American Tour. Starting off the night with “Life’s About to Get Good,” Twain’s eclectic mix of old and new music reminded us all why she’s “Still the One.”
The show was energetic, full of vim and vigor and left an indelible impression on concertgoers. In fact, it took until toward the end of the night for the classics “You’re Still the One” and “Man! I Feel Like A Woman” to play, but when it did, the crowd could not be contained.
Twain ruled the sold-out show like she was on top of the world – and who could blame her? It’s her first tour in over three years, but the reviews across the globe have been glowing. The Vancouver Sun dubbed Shania “now as good as Shania then”…and we couldn’t agree more. It’s been 25 years of tear-jerking, boot stomping togetherness and her fans have forged a community spanning years. We saw wives, mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends holding hands and swaying to the music throughout the night. There were a fair share of men at the show as well. After all, Twain’s message has always been of inclusion – as she invites the world to “Come on Over” and check out her new tunes.
