Forward Alysha Clark has spearheaded the team’s Toy Drive efforts for the past three years and regularly visits Seattle Children’s during the season.
“The kids and families at Seattle Children’s have become a close part of my community in Seattle over the years,” said Clark. “Spending time visiting kids, I have made friends with their families and the nurses, specifically on the cancer floor. I’m honored that Lime and Storm fans will again help rally around this cause and am looking forward to helping brighten the days of the kids with the delivery of the new helmets and toys.”
Along with the donations from fans and Clark, the Storm has teamed up with Lime, who will be donating Lime and Storm co-branded helmets to distribute to kids at the hospital.
“Lime is thrilled to pioneer new and exciting modes of transportation,” said Isaac Gross, Lime’s Seattle General Manager. “It’s not just about a variety of affordable and accessible rides, but about sharing the public safety regulations and best practices that apply to them with our riders. We provide free helmets for our riders to encourage the usage of helmets on a regular basis. We’re here to keep your ride smooth and your community clean.”
