Infamously anti-gay TLC reality TV stars Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have had their life on display for their show 19 Kids & Counting, but they have forgotten to mention one thing…Michelle Duggar has a sister that identifies as a lesbian.

In 2013, the Duggar family joined the Family Research Council’s “Values Bus Tour” and traveled around Virginia in support of the notoriously homophobic gay governor candidate Ken Cuccinelli.

In August, Michelle was the voice behind a robocall advising people to vote against an anti-discrimination bill saying, “I don’t believe the citizens of Fayetteville would want males with past child predator convictions that claim they are female to have a legal right to enter private areas that are reserved for women and girls.”

The Duggar’s continued to draw attention to their anti-gay ways when they deleted pictures of same-sex couples kissing on their Facebook page.

Recently, their oldest son Josh led a protest against gay marriage in Arkansas saying, “We had the First Amendment in this nation, and we have the right to live out our faith. The rally will send a strong reminder to Arkansas Supreme Court Justices that an overwhelming majority of voters…voted to preserve marriage as the union of a man and a woman.”

The family that has worked hard to discriminate has been keeping one thing a secret though. According to Radar Online, Michelle’s oldest sister, Evelyn Ruark, 63, is a lesbian.

Ruark and her long-term partner Sharon Callahan live together in Cincinnati, Sharon’s mother Dolores said.

Though not much has been mentioned about Ruark by the Duggar family, Josh did speak about her during a political radio show last year.

“I have an aunt who has chosen to live that life and I love my aunt,” he said. “I think she is an amazing person. She believes that marriage is between one man and one woman.”

The New Civil Rights Movement reported a quote from Ruark that was picked up from a few years ago. Ruark said, “We are worried about them [the Duggars]…It appears to be brainwashing to me.”
