More cities are taking part in Pride parades and festivals than ever before. With greater numbers of LGBT people living out and proud, there are even more people in more places celebrating their past, present, and future. However, some Pride parades are true experiences that every LGBT person could aspire to visit. We’re going to check out five of the top Pride parades that you should try to visit at some point in your life.


The first Pride celebration that you should visit is in Miami, specifically Miami Beach. This Pride Celebration is great because it takes place throughout the whole area, but specifically on the beach. If you’re looking to visit a place where the main street, Ocean Drive, is converted into an event-filled area for LGBT people, then this is the place to go. With events happening on the streets and beach, you’ll find plenty of interesting people, costumes, and celebrations.

Most LGBT people that visit Washington D.C. are familiar with Dupont Circle since it is a well-known gay district within the city. During the Pride celebrations, this area and the National Mall transform into a world of fun parties, parades, and great celebrations. With so many unique ways to celebrate, you’ll definitely have a good time in the nation’s capital. It’s also a good time to visit the Capitol and let your representatives know what you think.
