Taylor Swift’s music video “Bad Blood” featuring Kendrick Lamar premiered at the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night.
The much-anticipated video is packed with stars like Jessica Alba, Lena Dunham, Ellie Goulding, Hayley Williams, Karli Kloss, Ellen Pompeo, Cara Delevingne and a Mission Impossible-styled Swift.
The video opens with Swift and Selena Gomez fighting men together in an office. Throughout the video the women are both fighting each other and working together to fight others in a way that columnist Spencer Kornhaber thought was to say, “‘We’re humans. Some of us are going to get along, some of us aren’t.’”
The celebs are portrayed as futuristic villains like, “Slay-Z,” “Mother Chucker,” “Cut Throat,” and “The Crimson Curse.”
Though Swift has yet to say what the song is about, there is speculation it could be about Katy Perry.
“For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not,” she told Rolling Stone, adding that the song was about another famous female artist. “She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?’”
Swift became the most decorated artist in the show’s history with 20 wins, beating out Garth Brooks on Sunday night.
