Former Will & Grace co-stars Debra Messing and Eric McCormack reunited last week on the set of Messing’s new show The Mysteries of Laura.
“Dropping in on an old friend. Well, not OLD…@DebraMessing @NBCLaura,” McCormack said of the photo he tweeted of the two.
Messing also shared a picture of the duo saying, “YES, THAT’S RIGHT. WE’RE BAAAACCCCCCKKKK @EricMcCormack @NBCLaura.”
The two famously starred on Will & Grace, which ended nine years ago. It became the first prime-time sitcom to star openly gay characters. The show ran for eight seasons and won 16 Emmy Awards.
In her new show, Messing plays a smart, but “fashion-challenged” detective that has to deal with her ex-husband becoming her new boss and their two misbehaving twin boys. McCormack will guest star as Dr. Andrew Devlin, an arrogant heart surgeon and Messing’s one-time fiancé.
The Mysteries of Laura resumes its first season on February 4 on NBC.
