Tello Films to Release LGBTQ+ Romcom ‘A Holiday I Do’

When a small town, single mom falls for her ex-husband’s beautiful wedding planner, she’ll need some Christmas magic to fix the chaos that ensues in the charming LGBTQ+ romcom, A Holiday I Do. The spicy and sophisticated sapphic adventure makes its world debut Nov. 10, 2023, on the popular lesbian Tello Films network.

Directed by Paul Schneider and Alicia Schneider (Just Another Dream), A Holiday I Do stars Lindsay Hicks (Her StoryThe Bigger Picture, VSBK) and Rivkah Reyes (School of RockA Picture Perfect Holiday) with Marsha Warfield (9-1-1Stand Out: An LGBTQ+ CelebrationNight Court), Jill Larson (All My Children), Joe Piazza (AbstruseEnigmaBetrayed), India Chappell (American Horror Story, Gossip Girl), Colette Hahn (Christine’s Wager), Cameron Judd (Red Hood: The Fan Series, OK), and drag queen Monique Madison (Monique Madison’s Mouthy and Medicated Podcast).

Frazzled, single mom Jane (Hicks) is raising 10-year-old Lexi (Hahn) and managing her family’s horse farm following the loss of her father and she’s been holding it all together with a little moral support from her mom (Larson) and their festive neighbors. But when she agrees to be the best (wo)man in the elaborate, yuletide wedding of her BFF ex-husband, Mark (Piazza), she finds herself navigating an emotionally charged holiday, a bridezilla fiancé (Chappell), a raging blizzard, and a surprise visit from a no-nonsense banker (Warfield).

Things become even more complicated and hectic when an unexpected romance sparks between her and the wedding planner, Sue (Reyes). As the big day looms, Jane’s going to need a Christmas Miracle to not only clean up the mess she’s made, but to also rescue her family’s farm before it’s too late.

With an uplifting message for those in the LGBTQ+ community who might not feel welcomed by family and friends this holiday season, 10% percent of the producer’s proceeds from the film will support The Trevor Project, a non-profit which provides mental health and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth.
