Seattle Pride Wednesday announced its new community giving program, the Seattle Pride Impact Fund, dedicated to empowering LGBTQIA2S+ grassroots initiatives.
The Seattle Pride Impact Fund is a revamp of Seattle Pride’s long-standing grants and sponsorship program, which has distributed more than $500,000 in funding support to community-serving LGBTQIA2S+ organizations since 2018.
The new giving fund emphasizes LGBTQIA2S+ accessibility, collaboration, and sustainability to amplify community impact. It also simplifies the process for applicants with a single annual application cycle, clear funding categories, and expanded resources to uplift priority areas including BIPOC leadership, trans empowerment, youth initiatives, and arts & culture.
“For those who are feeling the weight of our recent political assaults it’s critical that we create opportunities for us to come together in community to connect, heal, celebrate, and advocate,” said Patti Hearn, Seattle Pride executive director.
Hearn added, “Our Seattle Pride Impact Fund is designed to support efforts that bring joy and connection to our community and initiatives that create lasting change. As with all of our work, the goal is that we can live authentically, thrive, and love who we want without erasure or persecution.”
Two grant categories will be offered: Spark Grants of up to $3,500 and in-kind support to ignite smaller projects, and Partnership Grants of up to $15,000 for larger initiatives to drive change.
The application period opens in July with awards announced in October and funds distributed in January 2026. Visit seattlepride.org/impact-fund for details on eligibility and application deadlines.
